​Bookbinding I & II / Debra Eck
In this series of classes we will explore traditional forms of making a book, including unsupported sewing techniques as well as sewing on cords and tapes, along with sewing simple endbands The course will cover two modified Western styles of binding and a partial leather Islamic binding with lacquered paper covers. While these classes are designed to build on skills learned in the Intro to Bookbinding class, the basics of book construction will be covered and so they are also suitable for beginners.

Master Class - Luminous Landscapes/Mikel Wintermantel

Local artist and landscape master Mikel Wintermantel will be teaching this 3 session class on his unique style of luminous painting. A variety of mediums will be explored. Samples of each will be provided.

Holiday Wreaths/Marcia Karl Wymer
Join us for this holiday staple activity - making a holiday wreath! Create a beautiful holiday-themed wreath to decorate your front door or anywhere else you desire for the holiday season. Supplies will vary and everyone will create a unique item!

Beginner Throwing Section 1/Natalie Sacchitella

This 6 week class will give students the basics of throwing vessels on a pottery wheel. You will learn to wedge, center, and pull up walls for your first time throwing pottery. The final class will be spent learning very basic glaze techniques. All supplies included along with 25 lbs of clay.

Nuno Felted Scarves/Linda Georgian
Fiber artist Linda Georgian will take you through the popular technique of Nuno Felting. Nuno felting is a wet felting process that is a relatively fast and fun way to felt wool into silk or other fabrics. This class will teach you the process of Nuno felting, you will be creating a silk or wool scarf that you will design yourself. Because you start with silk fabric, the felting goes quickly. It is a great way to dress up your wardrobe and make gifts. Supplies are included in the price. Students are asked to bring old bath towels.
