2021 Tri-County Arts Council Member Exhibition

​Application Guidelines
All current and soon-to-be Tri-County Arts Council members are invited to submit one original piece of art for the 2019 Member Exhibition. The member show will not be juried and there is no entry fee. Members must fill out an entry form that can be found at the bottom of this page and all registrations are due by TBA

Membership
​All applicants must be current members of the Tri-County Arts Council. If you are unsure if your membership is valid, please contact us. To join as a member, please go to the "Membership" channel at the top of this web page.

Sale
If you agree, your work will be considered available for purchase in which case your must provide a purchase price. Tri-County Arts Council will receive a 25% commission on works sold during the exhibition. Tri-County Arts Council is not responsible to pay the artist until we receive payment from purchaser. Artists are also responsible for remitting any commission for works sold outside the Gallery during the artist's exhibition as a result of this exhibition. Tri-County Arts Council is required to charge sales tax that will be added to the total price.

Medium Requirements & Size Restrictions
All media will be accepted. Two dimensional works - drawing, painting, fiber, collage - must be no larger than 16 inches X 20 inches, framed and ready to hang. Three dimensional works must be no larger than 12 inches x 12 inches x 6 feet tall. Video works must include the equipment to show the work and fit on a 18 inch square pedestal or be able to be hung on the wall. Any works that do not fit these size restrictions cannot be displayed. 

Images
Please submit one high resolution print-ready image of your submission to info@myartscouncil.net. Organizers retain the right to use your images for the purpose of documentation, publicity and promotion. All artists can receive copies of any publication upon request.

Reception
Tri-County Arts Council will sponsor an opening reception on TBA which will include food, beverages, and live music by the Hick ups. 

Packing and Shipping
-Artists should deliver work during prearranged dates,  All works must be received by.

-All works must be labeled with the artists name, title, medium and declared value (fair market value). 

-All artists will be required to sign our exhibition contract. This document will be emailed to you. 

-If participants choose to ship work, artists will be responsible for all costs of shipping to the gallery, as well as return shipping and insurance while in transit. Please provide a pre-purchased shipping label for all returns.

-All entries must be packaged in sturdy, reusable containers and include clear packing, shipping and installation instructions. 

-Program organizers are not responsible for any damaged that occurs during packing, unpacking, or repacking of artwork or for any damage to artwork that occurs during shipment or transit of the artwork. Please take all necessary precautions to ensure safety of your artwork.

-Accepted works will be insured only during the installation and exhibition of work at the Gallery.

Conditions

-Program organizer is the Tri-County Arts Council 

-Program organizers reserve the right to disqualify artwork that, upon receipt, differs from the submitted  images or is  larger than described in the medium requirements noted above.

-All accepted entries will be considered as temporary loans to the Tri-County Arts Council and shall remain in its possession for the duration of the exhibition.

-Accepted artwork must remain on display for the full exhibition period. Artists may not remove artwork before final exhibition date.

-Tri-County Arts Council will assume insurance of objects upon receipt and inspection, and during the loan period. Coverage will be provided for the declared value of the work. Please note, ceramic, glass and similar fragile articles will be covered in case of breakage, however are excluded from coverage if items are marred or scratched. 

-Program organizers can not be responsible for minor wear and tear resulting in normal handling. 

-Any work that is not picked up within 30 days of the end of the exhibition (without notification to Tri-County Arts Council) will become Arts Council property.
